Is really, really bad.... Just trying to set expectations to the right level :)

I had read some really bad reviews, so my expectations weren't high, but my god did it fail to reach even those lofty heights... A computer game turned into a movie with implausibilities everywhere. Others I went to see it with liked it mind you, but they seem to remember previous indy movies to be equally stupid... I think its how I enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movie cause I thought the first one was pretty ridiculous anyway.

Anyway there you go. You have been warned :)

There is a much greater likelihood that life exists on other planets than there is that voodoo is anything but a load of fakery and myth... :p

And we won't even get into the fact that we know that the bible is suffering from a very bad case of chinese whispers at best.

I went to see it last night. I had already read your blog and Laura told me she'd walked out of the cinema it was so crap. And she had free tickets to see it. That meant I just went into it expecting it to be totally awful. So, I was pleasantly surprised. I agree that Indie looked absolutely terrible as an old man.

I also agree about the ants, the waterfall and most especially the tarzan bit.

The wedding at the end was typical Lucas. It was like the end of the second crap Star Wars film. I really wish someone would stand up to Lucas and tell him what crap dialogue he writes and how threadbare some of his stories are. That said, every time I was about to give up on this film I thought of Temple Of Doom and reminded myself far-fetched is not unusual in these films.

I can't wait to see the new Batman film, though! - Shane
