Indiana Jones

Is really, really bad.... Just trying to set expectations to the right level :)

I had read some really bad reviews, so my expectations weren't high, but my god did it fail to reach even those lofty heights... A computer game turned into a movie with implausibilities everywhere. Others I went to see it with liked it mind you, but they seem to remember previous indy movies to be equally stupid... I think its how I enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movie cause I thought the first one was pretty ridiculous anyway.

Anyway there you go. You have been warned :)

I watched Raiders before going to the new one and it has a lot more charm an, well, sense to it. Indy wasn't a superhero in Raiders (or ToD, which I really like) - he gets beaten up, he has limitations and flaws and there isn't so much goofy humour.

I still enjoyed CS, but you could see the bits of the film that Lucas had done - the gophers, the fridge, the swordfight, the tarzan bit and the ridiculous ants carrying body into next bit (which undercut that sequence a bit). Total Die Hard 4 syndrome.
